Filmmaker, Director, Editor, Producer, Writer, Actor, Professor
Pamela Matthews (MFA Film Production) is a Filmmaker, Director, Editor, Actor and Instructor with more than thirty years experience in the industry.
She currently teaches at Ryerson University (Directing & Performance), Centennial College (Production) - and - since 2002, has been teaching filmmaking for The American Indian Film Institute's Tribal Touring Program (San Francisco, CA).
In 2014, she Produced the inaugural AMERICAN INDIAN MOTION PICTURE AWARDS SHOW (for the AIFI) which aired on several U.S. television stations to excellent ratings!
Pam is currently working on several film projects including a feature-length documentary (in post-production) and a feature film and television series (in development).
As an Actor, she has appeared on film and television in numerous productions - most recently in "Burden of Truth" - and the soon-to-be-aired TV Series, "Unsettled" (Series Regular).

She has also appeared in theatres all over the world, including the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford Upon Avon, England, where she performed the role of 'Laertes' in "The Penelopiad".
Pam is a graduate of the Ryerson Theatre School, earned her Masters Degree in Film Production from York University, completed undergraduate Film Studies at Ryerson University (where she won the Gold Medal for Outstanding Academic Achievment) - and - studied Directing at the Royal National Theatre of Great Britain and the Lincoln Center Theatre in New York City.
And for real fun - as a (Certified) Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver, in 2012, she explored the Great Barrier Reef, shooting Reef Sharks (with a camera of course!) and other amazing creatures!
